Jõgeva town square vision competition

“Väikesed kohad”, Vision competition of Jõgeva town hall, no recognition

Project area Jõgeva city center and main street

Year 2020

Landscape design Kaja Sepper
Architecture Paco Ulman

Main idea is to provide a representative town hall square with a pedestrian friendly main street. The main square is divided into sections according to their functions – cultural square, central square and flag square.

The landscape architecture has to solve the problem of unmaintained parks to bring life into them and also bring green into a busy main street. The two parks which are in the competition area, are very different. One is dedicated to an Estonian poet and the other one is cut away by a new housing development and needs a new perspective.
